Ichigo Kurosaki: An OverviewBleach begins with Ichigo as a fifteen year old, orange haired student who has the unique ability to see ghost. His encounter with a soul reaper named Rukia Kuchiki would be the event that will transform his life from that of a tough teenage kid to a young hero. Ichigo learns that the reason Rukia is at his house is because his family was being targeted by a hollow. Ichigo is forced to absorb all of Rukia’s powers in order to defeat the hollow subsequently leaving Rukia powerless and unable to perform her duties as a soul reaper. Can Ichigo Be Considered One of the Greatest Manga Characters Ever?I’ve read a lot of manga in my days, and I’ve got to say that I have yet to come across another character like Ichigo. I’m not saying that Ichigo doesn’t share some of the same characteristics that have become all too familiar in manga protagonist. I’m not saying that Ichigo is completely original. What I am saying is that despite similarities to other lead characters, I have never really compared Ichigo to any other character.
